This year we have had a lot of rain and being a photographer you just have to deal with it. If you are lucky and have a long lens, finding cover is a great option. If one has limited cover, then cover up the best you can. There are a number of commerce grade lens/camera covers out there on the market to chose from. Visit your local camera store or check camera sites on the web. A poor man’s option is to use a trash bag. I always carry one with me and went it starts to rain, I slip the bag over the lens hood, use some tape around the bag on the hood, then poke a hole so you can see through the lens. You can pull it down to cover the camera while not shooting. Remember went you get back to the office/home, wipe down your equipment.
